# Participant Statement

As a Plan Manager, one of the primary ways to Empower your Participants is to regularly provide them with a **Statement** highlighting the financial status of their `Plan`, including reports of `Plan` expenditure and the balance of funds remaining in their `Plan`.

In this section, we will describe the different ways you can send Participant statements right out of Maica, including:

* Sending ad-hoc funding statements
* Manually send monthly funding statements
* Schedule and automatically send monthly statements

We will also look 'under the hood' and explain the underlying logic contained in the Funding statement as we think it is pretty important you clearly understand how the Statement figures are derived from your Salesforce data.
